Job Duties Server, workstation, laptop, cell phone, IP phone diagnostics and remediation of reported issues. Hardware and software installations, replacements, upgrades. Support of mobile devices and Microsoft Active Sync. Assist with remote connectivity; Virtual Private Network, remote desktop protocol, and Microsoft Outlook Web Access. Diagnostics of server and workstation connectivity; networking, hardware, cabling, etc. Setup of end user systems, client profiles, domain access, file and print sharing, and Outlook. Diagnostics of network appliances: Barracuda, routers, firewalls, web filters, spam filters. Troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange Server email and connectivity issues. Escalation procedures and Vendor Management for all critical issues. Understands and demonstrates a basic working knowledge of Windows 7 and 8 and Microsoft Office. Must be able to appropriately troubleshoot issues, coordinate resolution and communicate to end users. Ensure hardware firmware is up to date, maintain accuracy in AD and Exchange. Responsible for managing proper security protocols. Must maintain current documentation for all assigned systems. Must keep team informed of all projects and work orders via email timely. Offering technical support on-site or via phone or email. Clearly, consistently and timely communicate with end users and staff. Other Duties
Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the department and organization. Position Qualifications
Two years basic computer technician, help desk, network, and phone experience preferred, along with healthcare related experience. Great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. Thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. Network, server, active directory, wireless connectivity, VMWare, Microsoft Exchange, desktop management, etc. Proficient in Microsoft Windows 7 and Office Suite. Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles. In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks. Strong administrative skills. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for OPS. Good organizational skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Must be computer literate. Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position. Required
