Retail Stock Associate
Department Retail
Reports To Store Manager or Retail Supervisor
Job Summary The Retail Stock Associate provides excellent customer service for both internal and external guests. He or she ensures merchandise is transferred from the receiving dock to the sales floor, receives, unpacks, delivers merchandise, and ensures back stock is put away in the stock rooms. All retail Team Members should be outgoing, upbeat, energetic, and dependable.
Education High School Diploma required. Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses / Certificates Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically an Alcohol Awareness Certification, and Health Card where applicable.
Essential Functions / Duties Overview The Retail Stock Associate must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull heavy loads, and work standing for 90% of the day. He or she will be required to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
Appearance
Ensure uniform standards are adhered to. Always wear a clean, neatly pressed uniform and wear a name tag at all times.
Customer Service (Internal & External)
Maintain customer service levels in accordance with Family Style Service standards.
Acknowledge and greet guests with a smile.
Be knowledgeable about Caesars Rewards program and its benefits.
Be courteous and create a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Be knowledgeable of the hotel property and available amenities.
Teamwork
Communicate all daily activities to the next shift on duty.
Partner with fellow Team Members to create a strong team.
Communicate daily activities to the Supervisor on Duty.
Adhere to company guidelines on attendance and tardiness; clock in and out as directed.
Stock Management
Receive shipments in a timely manner.
Receive, unpack, and put away or transfer daily deliveries of merchandise.
Notify Supervisor on Duty of any discrepancies in DC shipments.
Deliver and replenish beverages.
Receive orders of Pepsi, liquor, wine, and beer.
Receive requisitions from the loading dock.
Follow delivery schedule set by the Retail Manager.
Transport merchandise from the receiving dock to store locations.
Perform additional physical labor for high‑volume stores (stock coolers, remote storage).
Ensure all supplies (bags, tissue, bubble wrap, etc.) are delivered to stores.
Complete stock counts as requested.
Maintain and manage stock areas.
Inform Supervisor on Duty of over‑stock or out‑of‑stock items.
Complete on‑hand logs where applicable.
Monitor alcohol and beer inventory and assist with ordering.
Assist with store‑to‑store transfers.
Housekeeping
Participate in stock room cleanliness by dusting and keeping all areas neat and uncluttered.
Inform Supervisor on Duty of any maintenance concerns.
Collect and dispose of trash where applicable.
Miscellaneous
Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
Complete job assignments as directed by the Supervisor on Duty.
Assist with Team Member sales events, physical inventories and special events as requested.
