Job Summary:
The Retail Associate assists the store management team in reaching the operational goals of the site by functioning in various capacities within the retail location. Possible duties include working as a Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.
Responsibilities
Cashier:
Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, follows all cash handling procedures, provides general information about Goodwill programs, directs higher‑level questions, and maintains cleanliness of the sales floor.
Textiles or Wares Producer:
Sorts product to identify quality and value, properly bars, tags, and hangs textiles or wares, produces 100 items per hour for wares or 85 items per hour for textiles, adheres to pricing standards, updates daily production tracking, and uses pallet jack and conveyor belt.
Donation Door Attendant:
Accepts donations, maintains a clean and clear donation door, quickly and accurately sorts products, distributes them to appropriate areas, keeps the backroom organized, loads and unloads trucks, and regularly uses heavy equipment such as pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, and hydraulic lift.
eCommerce Producer:
Identifies and secures items for ClickGoodwill, stays informed on market value via eBay and other sites, tags, itemizes, and packs curated products onto pallets, wraps and ships totes to meet weekly tote shipment targets.
e-Books Producer:
Scans books, decides whether to send to ClickGoodwill or display in‑store, prints inventory sheets, packs, seals, and ships totes, identifies top sellers, and manages a clean, organized, in‑store display.
Rack and Cart Runner:
Checks each rack/cart for quality and value, properly sizes, merchandises, and purges the sales floor, maintains an orderly floor, puts away carts, stocks shelves, and runs one textile rack/wares cart every 15 minutes while updating production tracking.

Hard to Very Hard Physical Work – Ability to spend time in excess of 8 hours in various postures, lift 10‑50 pounds, and handle exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations.
