Job Summary Responsible for prospecting and running Auris Payroll presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid‑size merchants and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Field Sales Representative you will report to a Payroll Division Manager and receive coaching from a Territory Manager. Activities include explaining our value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM, upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Payroll Territory (PTM) and/or Payroll Division Manager (PDM).
Your role is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will work closely with your local PDM or PTM to set appointments with business owners in person or face‑to‑face via your network and referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Auris solutions to close sales in small to mid‑size businesses. During the training period, your PDM or PTM will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short‑cycle sales process using our tablet‑based CRM platform, Atlas, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on‑spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing. After training you will have the opportunity to set your own work schedule to maximize the upside of 100% commission and the residuals on the business you bring in.
Responsibilities
Prospect new clients.
Maintain client records in our CRM (currently Atlas) in accordance with company policies, including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact information, and other relevant data.
Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure a WIN.
Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry to remain up‑to‑date.
Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one‑on‑one sessions with a leader.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license and valid automobile insurance.
Successful completion of pre‑employment background check.
Must live in the area relative to the job posting location.
At least two years of relevant experience.
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Incentive‑driven sales “hunter.”
Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
Enjoys cold‑calling and face‑to‑face interaction.
Accountable for measurable, high‑quality, timely results.
Ability to be in the field a minimum of 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Prior experience in a B2B sales role.
Prior experience with a CRM tool such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Compensation and Benefits

First‑year professional may expect an average of $90,000–$105,000+ in un‑capped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.

Base compensation range: $0 – $0. This range reflects Acrisure’s good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
