You’ll act as the face of PFS in your market — managing accounts, opening new ones, and growing business with grocery stores, restaurants, and retailers. This is a field-driven role with a mix of relationship management and new business development. Sales & Account Growth
Collect and grow weekly sales orders from assigned accounts. Visit clients regularly to check needs, manage stock, and upsell / cross-sell. Introduce new products, promotions, and samples. Customer Success & Collections
Support timely collections and resolve payment issues. Partner with clients to improve planograms, stock presence, and merchandising. Handle customer issues quickly and log resolutions. Market Expansion
Open new accounts and grow existing ones. Generate new leads through outreach, referrals, and cold calls. Share competitor insights and market feedback with management. Data & Strategy
Analyze sales data to grow wallet share and improve performance. Participate in trade shows, food demos, and local marketing events. Assist customers in adopting ordering technology and online platforms. Work Schedule & Travel Expectations
Territory Coverage : Indiana (core), Michigan, and Ohio. Monday - Friday : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM; weekends as required. Up to 80% travel requirement within assigned sales territory (driving to / from customer sites), with occasional overnight trips. Candidates must list all states they are comfortable servicing by car; travel is self-managed. DC Reporting : Reps report to their main Distribution Center (Troy, MI) once a month. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of field sales experience in food & beverage, hospitality, distribution, or FMCG / CPG. Bilingual : English + Hindi required (Punjabi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil a plus). Strong account management and new business development skills. Valid U.S. driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs as needed. Must have prior wholesale distribution or food and beverage experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to Indian / South Asian grocery stores or restaurants. Familiarity with cooler, frozen, and ambient products. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth distribution environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Outlook, Teams). Familiar with ERP and sales / order management platforms (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NetSuite, Odoo, Choco, Pepper, Cut&Dry), with a strong interest in learning and adopting new technologies.
