Cliff House Maine . This position is part of the housekeeping management team that manages the cleanliness and appearance of guest accommodations and public space at Cliff House Maine.

Responsibilities

Establish and delegate daily work assignments for all housekeeping staff to ensure all property areas are cleaned in accordance with company standards.

Assist with training of new staff, scheduling and reviewing all departmental staff; check quality of work performed, monitor productivity, and motivate staff to improve performance.

Assist with preparing, authorizing and verifying all departmental payroll information.

Respond to guest requests and complaints concerning housekeeping.

Inspect guest rooms for preventive maintenance, needed repairs, and ensure cleaning standards are maintained.

Maintain inventory of guest and housekeeping supplies/linens and place orders for necessary supplies and equipment.

Ensure operating procedures comply with all state and federal regulations regarding OSHA and HAZCOM.

Maintain the Lost and Found function for the entire resort.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.

Previous experience as a resort housekeeping supervisor or manager preferred.

Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Interpersonal skills enabling one to supervise and motivate a staff and deal effectively with all guests.

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours in length. Requires sitting, bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and visual acuity.

Must be able to lift and carry boxes, equipment, etc., weighing up to 40 pounds.

Must be able to pass a background check.
