Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part‑time faculty positions in Economics in the School of Business for the academic year (2025‑2026). The posting will remain active for AY25‑26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part‑Time faculty positions are semester‑based positions and report directly to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face‑to‑face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats. These positions are on an as‑needed basis. Positions require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback to students and to meet individually with students throughout the semester. Part‑Time faculty may teach in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Classes at Georgia Gwinnett College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.

Responsibilities

Developing course curricula, including the syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with the requirements of the upper division program and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.

Reviewing, evaluating and recommending student learning materials.

Evaluating students to measure their progress in achieving institutional and course goals.

Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree in the teaching discipline

1-year college-level teaching

Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
