Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81/ hour
Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour
Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour
Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

Responsibilities
To provide nursing care to the Pediatric Pulmonary patient population
Assist providers with care of clinic patients inclusive of treatments, assessments, and patient care orders.
Provide telephone management which includes triage of calls from patients, families, clinicians and other healthcare team members.
Collaborate with other health team members and associated resource persons to provide continuity of care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Function independently and be highly motivated to provide excellent care and patient advocacy.
Expectations of position Demonstrated ability of effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with internal and external customers.
Demonstrated adaptability to changing needs and priorities on clinic, department, and institutional goals/objectives.
Demonstrated accountability and dependability, e.g., completion of work, mandatories, goal setting within established timelines.
Excellent attendance records as evidenced by references and evaluations.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to seek constructive approaches to resolving workplace issues.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills through the nursing process, excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrated ability to set priorities.
Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build respectful relationships between units and individuals.

Nursing Specific Info Salary & Nursing Framework Level: This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period. Required Qualifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse to practice in the State of Michigan.
One (1) year ambulatory care clinic experience within pediatrics including inbasket management and telephone triage experience.
Minimum of three (3) years recent RN experience within the last five (5) years direct patient care with pediatric patients.
BLS Certification.
NOTE: In order to be considered for this position the applicant must have met or will have met all the required qualifications prior to the start date of employment. Shift/Hours/Days: Day shift, specific hours to be determined upon hire
Location: C.S. Mott Children's Hospital-Pediatric Pulmonary Clinic
Note: All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
Modes of Work Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment.
Union Affiliation This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U‑M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U‑M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
