Behavioral Health Director – Davidson County Downtown Detention Center, Nashville, TN
We are seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to lead our behavioral health services at VitalCore Health Strategies. The director will develop, implement, and supervise evidence‑based treatment programs that meet NCCHC/ACA standards and support the health and safety of our residents.

The Behavioral Health Director is responsible for the development, implementation, clinical and administrative supervision, and monitoring of a behavioral health delivery system that meets national standards. The director works with the Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director, and Psychiatrist to coordinate total contract services. Essential Functions
Serve as primary contact for administrative staff regarding treatment program discussion and problem resolution. Coordinate the development and revision of policies and procedures for the assessment and provision of clinical services to inmates. Supervise planning, development, and implementation of contracted treatment programs. Provide clinical and administrative supervision to behavioral health staff. Monitor service delivery to ensure timely and professional clinical care and assign on‑call duties. Ensure contracted programs are integrated and appropriately staffed. Provide administrative support to psychiatric staff. Coordinate the facility’s behavioral health quality improvement program. Attend required training and meetings. Required Education, Certifications, Registrations and Experience
Fully licensed in Tennessee as an LPC‑MHSP, LCSW, PhD, PsyD, or LSPE. Valid background investigation approval.
