Job description
Skilled Nursing facility is hiring experienced physical therapy assistants for 13-week contracts in Carmichael, CA.
Schedule Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday- Thursday
Job Responsibilities
Patient Treatment: Directly assists patients with exercises, stretches, and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
Patient Monitoring: Observes patient responses before, during, and after therapy and reports findings to the PT.
Patient Education: Teaches patients and caregivers how to perform exercises and maintain health at home.
Documentation: Records patient progress and treatment details.
Setup & Maintenance: Prepares treatment rooms and equipment and keeps them clean.
Support: Assists patients with mobility, including using assistive devices like walkers or canes.
Requirements Active CA PTA License / Certification
At least 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
