Sentara Urgent Care Port Potomac is hiring a Full‑Time Patient Care Specialist in Woodbridge, VA.
Location Woodbridge, VA
Schedule & Shift Swing shift: 2 12‑hour shifts—one 8‑hour shift and one 6‑hour shift with alternating weekends. Clinic hours Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Responsibilities
Provide non‑clinical support within a physician’s office to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and address patient questions.
Perform a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery.
Collaborate closely with team members to provide high‑quality care.
Qualifications
Education:
HS – High School Grad or equivalent.
Experience:
Three (3) years Clerical, Customer Service experience required.
One year experience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third‑Party Payers required.
Associate’s degree in lieu of the required experience will be considered.
Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred.
