Business Development Representative
Full-time (Remote)
Location: MS Delta/Jackson, MS Area
Responsibilities As the Business Development Rep, you will be responsible for achieving optimal utilization of Parkwood’s continuum of care by developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in the MS Delta/Jackson market. You will provide Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department, participate in the Account Management system, assess customer needs, make marketing contacts to each account, develop and maintain a long‑term referral relationship to generate continuous admissions to meet census objectives. You will plan events, provide tours, perform referral source in‑services, act as liaison between Referral Source and the hospital, and seek new business development opportunities for the hospital.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or human services field.
Sales experience or clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population.
Prefer experience in developing new territories in target markets with customer base.
Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology.
Prefer knowledge of business development techniques.
Education Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or human services field.
Experience Sales experience or clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population required; prefer experience in developing new territories.
