Entry Level Gas Line Safety Technician
Join our team in New England where we prioritize quality and safety in the utility industry.
Responsibilities
Inspect gas meters and underground gas lines for leaks and corrosion.
Visually examine equipment and complete accurate paperwork.
Arrive on time for shifts and report any unusual findings.
Work full-time Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend work.
Receive paid training and start at $24 /hour with opportunities to earn up to $25 /hour based on performance.
Qualifications No experience required; we provide paid on‑the‑job training.

Physical / Other Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend and stoop, and lift heavy items.
Walk 3–4 miles per day on varied terrain in all weather.
Use a 5‑lb plunger bar to punch holes in the ground for gas probes.
Use simple hand tools.
Work well within a team and independently.
Understand utility maps.
Proficient with technology (smartphone, tablet).
Pass a drug screen, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Pass a criminal background (CORI) check.
Pass an operator qualification test.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Travel Requirements
Primarily local travel during business day; occasional out‑of‑area travel and overnight stays may be required.
