$67.00/hr - $98.00/hr
Position Summary City of Hope is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our Case Management team, specializing in cancer treatment. In this role you will coordinate patient care along the continuum, advocate for patients, and ensure their satisfaction while focusing on cancer care. The position is full‑time, 8‑hour shifts with day shifts. Weekend shift differentials of up to $15.37/hr are available.
Location & Campus City of Hope Orange County is transforming cancer treatment by bringing world‑class expertise and specialized care closer to home. Our 11‑acre academic cancer campus in Irvine houses the City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, our outpatient cancer center, and Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital. With the opening of the hospital, the full continuum of advanced cancer care—from prevention through survivorship—will be available in Orange County for the first time, eliminating the need to travel for lifesaving treatment.
Responsibilities
Utilize the Case Management process to effectively communicate and coordinate patient care, ensuring a seamless experience for patients receiving cancer treatment.
Serve as a patient advocate, actively promoting customer satisfaction by addressing patient concerns and facilitating their needs.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and plan patient care, ensuring timely access to necessary resources and services.
Monitor patient progress and identify opportunities for care improvement, working to enhance the overall quality of care delivery.
Utilize your BSN degree and clinical expertise to contribute to the overall success of the Case Management department.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Current CA RN License
Minimum of three (3) years current clinical experience, preferred background in oncology nursing
BLS Certification, through the American Heart Association
Experience in case management and familiarity with cancer treatment protocols.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient advocacy and satisfaction.
