Pay Range $30.00/hr - $47.28/hr
Job Summary Provide direct patient care in a 30‑bed Postpartum unit, including routine and high‑risk deliveries. Work in a high‑standard evidence‑based environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and participating in nursing committees.
Responsibilities
Promote patient and family‑centered care, educating patients and families on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with interprofessional team members and patients/families, and ensuring communication across the continuum of care.
Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs in accordance with the standards of care, considering patient preferences, barriers, cultural and spiritual needs.
Maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely, as the position is safety‑sensitive.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Nursing Diploma / Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: No prior experience required.
Supervisor Experience: None.
Licensure: RN license.
Preferred Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: None.
