This position reports to Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager.
This is an on-site position based in Mount Juliet, TN. The role contributes to the Electrification Smart Power Division in the United States.
Your role and responsibilities Execute warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods in the customer returns area. Work with teammates to follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in the warehouse in an effort to achieve key metrics.
You will be mainly accountable for
Ensuring various warehousing operations including packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading and dispatching of goods are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Maintain complete and accurate data in the ERP system (SAP) and customer facing system (Salesforce).
Evaluate and determine functionality of products returned, accept/reject based on technical specifications, quality standards, and overall condition of the return – packaging, documentation, completeness, etc.
Participates in regular inventory control processes.
Employ 5S organizational skills and participate in operational workouts.
Conduct shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non‑compliance. Employees are regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle, touch objects, tools and controls. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 120 pounds with or without equipment.
Qualifications for the role
High School Diploma required along with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/warehousing facility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Proficiency in WMS and ideally SAP.
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
