Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about keeping things running smoothly? Kinsley Power Systems is looking for a Parts Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing inventory and ensuring the timely distribution of parts to our field technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Order, receive, and stage preventive maintenance and repair parts
Assist field technicians with part look‑ups, compatibility, and availability
Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess or obsolete parts
Work with suppliers to ensure necessary parts are available in the correct quantities
Process part sales, prepare invoices, and arrange shipments for external customers
Purchase supplies and materials for the Service Department
Manage returns efficiently to secure full credit from suppliers
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and seek new partnerships when needed
Ensure warranty and unused stock returns are processed within specified time frames
Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories to troubleshoot quantity discrepancies
Work closely with Finance to reconcile open jobs and invoices
Keep the stockroom organized and ensure superior customer service to internal and external customers
Preferred Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2+ years of relevant experience (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered)
Previous parts/inventory experience is a plus
Proficiency with computers; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a bonus
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced, changing environment
Mechanical inclination; knowledge of diesel and gas engines is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
Commitment to safety and teamwork
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
