Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a PCU setting
Monitor patient conditions, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Valid Virginia RN license or compact RN license
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PCU or step‑down cardiac care
