Urgently hiring Physical Therapist full time at our office in Michigan City, IN on the south shore of Lake Michigan. We are looking for outstanding PTs with a passion for quality, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a team approach to help define the future practice of physical therapy. Ideally the candidate is pelvic floor trained, vestibular and concussion trained, an orthopedic/manual therapist, and certified in dry needling.
About us We have over 20 years of experience implementing best practices in a physical therapy clinic, bringing the best staff, location, equipment, and systems to elevate PT to the next level. We aim to assist each patient in reaching their full physical potential using sophisticated diagnostic methods such as movement investigation and gait analysis.
Duties
Patient Evaluations: Thoroughly and appropriately evaluate referred patients to assess their need for physical therapy services and develop the best possible treatment plan.
Develop Realistic Rehabilitation Programs: In coordination with other clinical team members, create best-practice rehabilitation programs using appropriate therapeutic modalities to meet patients’ personal, vocational, recreational, and medical needs.
Orient Patients: Ensure patients understand their individual PT program, mutually agreed goals, and approximate treatment length.
Establish Plan of Care.
Administer Prescribed Modalities, Therapies, and Exercise Programs: Manual therapy, laser therapy, dry needling, pelvic floor, chronic pain modalities.
Regularly Reassess Patients to Determine Effectiveness and Progress.
Patient Education: Explain the importance of continuing therapies, diagnosis, and treatment options.
Coordinate Treatment Plan with Patient and Other Team Members.
Maintain Accurate Documentation.
Submit Accurate Charges for Services and Supplies.
Collaborate and Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs): Include direction of tasks to be completed.
Requirements
Graduation from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program.
Physical Therapy License in IN.
Salary
$115k + per year (depending on training and experience)
