Program Overview ECMP is an immersive, paid program that combines one‑on‑one mentored ER experience with specialty rotations.

After completing ECMP, you will transition into a full Emergency Clinician role within MedVet’s multi‑specialty organization.

Program Highlights

Exceptional 1:1 mentorship with volunteer ER doctor mentors

Training phases: Direct, Indirect, Independent

Specialty rotations: Critical Care, Radiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery

Didactics and access to all medical journals and textbooks via OVID

POCUS training

Who We’re Looking For

DVM or equivalent from an AVMA‑accredited veterinary school

Licensed (or license‑eligible) to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your assigned hospital

Passionate about emergency medicine and continuous learning

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Requirements

Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty familiar with your skills and professionalism
