Job Description VillageMD is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our home‑based primary care team to support our vulnerable Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients in Southeast Michigan. Travel will be required to patients’ homes and can include but are not limited to: Livonia, Farmington Hills, Southfield, Westland, Dearborn Heights, and Canton, MI. Personal and Professional Skills for Success

Graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Two or more years of primary care or home care clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and provide care without physician supervision.

Comfortable treating adult patients, conducting comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems.

Working knowledge of chronic care management and various medication options.

Current, unrestricted State license or eligible for licensure and a valid driver’s license.

Active DEA registration or eligible for registration.

Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligible to enroll.

Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
