Location: NYC, NY. Cases available throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island boroughs.
Base pay range: $66.00/hr - $120.00/hr. Evaluations pay is $128.00 - $175.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in natural settings.
Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry‑over.
Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment, and address identified goals while documenting progress.
Prepare progress reports as indicated.
Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations; submit records within established timelines.
Requirements
Must have a passion for working with children and families.
NYS Licensed Physical Therapist.
1–2 years of experience working with children (birth to 5 years preferred but not required).
Must be self‑motivated, a team player, exercise patience, and maintain professionalism.
Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including via personal vehicle, walking, or public transportation.
Capable of ascending and descending staircases.
Able to lift 10 pounds regularly.
Able to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods of time.
