Position responsible for performing routine but somewhat varied clerical duties for assigned department. Location: Memorial Hermann Memorial City, 921 Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77024. Hours: Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. On-Call Required. Responsibilities
Answer telephones and call lights. Order and stock supplies. Construct and dismantle patient charts. Greet visitors. Maintain cleanliness of unit and nourishment rooms. Coordinate with Environmental Services or Engineering for unit maintenance. Type letters, memorandums, and other documents; file documents per procedures. Photocopy records, forms and other documents. Sort and distribute departmental mail. Verify information and resolve common problems. Ensure safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adhere to all policies and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service. Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; support departmental goals. Demonstrate commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma preferred. Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Minimum of two years of clerical experience. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Memorial Hermann Health System by 2x.
