Responsibilities

Provides and collaborates direct patient care services under the direct supervisor of a licensed caregiver. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to personal care, activities of daily living, vital signs, intake and output, ambulation, interventions, and implementation of selected portions of the patient care plan as directed under supervisor of nurse.

Assists, observes and reports changes in patient condition to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation in relation to the care delivered.

Addresses and/or directs questions or concerns from patients, families, caregivers, or health care team members.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED - Required

Experience

Completion of Block 1 in Nursing OR Medical Assistant (MA) OR Nursing Assistant (NA) OR Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) OR Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) OR 6 months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year - Required

6 months in acute care experience. - Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Preferred

Clinical Other\EMT - Emergency Medical Tech - Preferred
