Vascular Institute of Michigan is hiring a highly skilled vascular ultrasound technician for our Flint, Owosso, and Lapeer clinics.

Job Overview Position: Vascular Ultrasound Technician – Part Time (16‑24 hrs) or Full Time (40 hrs). The role involves independent, high‑technical level vascular ultrasound evaluations, with no direct supervision required.

Responsibilities

Conduct in‑depth vascular ultrasound evaluations at a high technical level.

Work independently with minimal oversight, while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Coordinate scheduling with lead sonographer to ensure workload coverage.

Travel between multiple office locations as needed.

Accurately document results and maintain records, including EMR documentation.

Job Requirements

Completion of a formal Vascular Technology training program (preferred) or Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program with vascular registry completed.

Minimum two years of vascular scanning experience, registry certified (ARDMS, RVT, CCI RVS) or new graduates eligible for registry and completing boards within 6 months of hire.

Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.

Familiarity with Medstreaming, Mindray, and Falcon Pro is a plus.

Ability to rotate travel between techs across multiple clinic locations.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly: $25.00 – $33.00 (part‑time) or $29.00 – $35.00 (full‑time). The position offers:
