This role is situated in Bellingham, MA and involves delivering high‑quality eyewear and exceptional customer service to support our reputation as a premier destination for all vision needs.
Pay Range $27.60 - $39.02 per hour. Employees may also receive a bonus and/or commission, along with a comprehensive total‑rewards package that includes health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome all customers, set expectations.
Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
Act as a leader in optical acumen and exhibit exceptional product knowledge.
Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail.
Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions.
Use technology efficiently despite time pressure and customer volume.
Explore root causes of issues, be proactive, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs & competencies.
Maintain store appearance and help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
Inform management about safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and committed to continual learning and improvement.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
State licensure.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPad/tablet.
Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
Embrace new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer service and retail experience.
