This position is designed to be performed in Washington, IN.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Service and maintain manufacturing equipment by checking, testing, troubleshooting, and replacing faulty mechanical components; perform running adjustments, repairs, and overhauls as needed.

Plan and execute preventative maintenance while ensuring all work complies with safety rules, plant policies, and PPE/permit requirements.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, manuals, and procedures to guide repairs and fabrication.

Use hand, power, and shop tools—including welding and machining—to repair, maintain, and fabricate parts for safe and efficient equipment operation.

Collaborate with mechanical/electrical technicians and production operators to troubleshoot issues; participate in major installations with other trades.

Operate forklifts, aerial manlifts, and similar equipment; perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, crawling, and maneuvering into various positions.

Complete other mechanical/maintenance duties as assigned, including determining pipe specifications and alternative procedures.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Experience and/Or Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Welding (Arc and Tig).

Plasma cutter and acetylene torch experience.

Understanding and knowledge of tools used in maintenance.

Millwright.

Computer experience in Microsoft applications and a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Work in a non‑climate controlled environment.

Must be able to work 12‑hour rotating shifts (days, nights, holidays, and weekends) and overtime.

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and work at heights.

Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Must wear protective equipment, including the ability to wear a respirator.

Be able to work in a smoke and tobacco free environment.

Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Must be able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.

Lift up to 55 lbs.
