Overview Advanced Dental Care of Streetsboro, a Heartland Dental supported office, is seeking a full‑time experienced Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustaining patient comfort and providing appropriate education throughout treatment.
Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to provide quality care.
Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
Provide superior chairside assistance (i.e., four‑handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act.
Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record‑keeping.
Prepare the treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols following OSHA & CDC recommendations.
Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
Partner with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Minimum Qualifications
Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
Required dental assistant certification and/or x‑ray certification under state dental practice act.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job‑related functions; regular HIPAA training and data safeguards required.
Must have dental assisting experience in general dentistry and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Experience
2‑3+ years of experience in a dental setting.
Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
Dental assisting school certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions; TB test completed prior to starting employment (not applicable in FL & TN).
Work Schedule Monday off, Tuesday 8:30‑6, Wednesday 7:30‑5, Thursday 6:30‑4, and Friday 7:30‑3.
