Job Summary : The Senior Conference Coordinator will plan, manage, and execute onsite meeting events.
Key Responsibilities
Answers telephones and makes reservations for clients.
Tracks information in the database.
Responsible for planning in the conference center.
Ensures appropriate communication to operating departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual.
Checks all conference rooms before client arrives.
Ensures rooms are set according to customer standards.
Ensures Audio Visual equipment is set according to customer standards.
Finalizes all planning details with clients and distributes to all operating departments.
Provides business center services when requested.
Runs end-of-day reports.
Preferred Qualifications
Four-year college degree preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Three years of planning experience in the hospitality industry.
Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business.
Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff.
Exceptional customer service abilities.
