We are seeking a strategic and execution‑oriented
Paid Media Specialist . This role is designed for a high‑impact professional who can bridge the gap between traditional PR and performance‑driven sponsored content. You will be responsible for translating complex client objectives into high‑performing paid campaigns across premium entrepreneurship and trade publications.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Develop comprehensive paid media strategies, including target outlet recommendations and storyline approaches tailored to client audiences.
Media Buying & Relations:
Manage relationships and outreach to priority paid media contacts at premium publication houses like Conde Nast, Hearst, and more.
Campaign Management:
Oversee the end‑to‑end execution of sponsored articles and "boosting" initiatives, ensuring all content aligns with core messaging around platform infrastructure and seller success.
Budget Oversight:
Manage significant campaign budgets and track agency fees to ensure profitability.
Content Alignment:
Partner with the PR team to ensure paid story angles complement earned media efforts.
Performance Reporting:
Identify and report on key performance indicators and early success signals from the "Seller Success Stories" and ecosystem initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
4–6 years in paid media
Vendor Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with the sponsored content landscapes of both
premium publications
and
retail trade outlets .
Project Management:
Proven ability to manage tight timelines, coordinate publication drafts, and navigate complex review cycles.
Entrepreneurial Mindset:
You must be comfortable building processes from scratch, from outreach workflows to reporting templates.
