Landscape Design Professional
role at HOK. We are seeking a Landscape Design Professional to join our St. Louis team. As a Landscape Design Professional, you will work under close supervision from senior staff, contributing to a wide range of landscape, planning, and urban design projects, participating in all phases from concept development through construction administration.
Responsibilities
Works on a broad range of assignments to support delivery of all project phases.
Participates in the development of drawings, reports, and presentations for landscape, planning, and urban design projects.
Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firmwide design excellence and problem solving.
Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
Displays ability to grasp design concepts and express graphically.
Assures HOK document standards are met and archives documents appropriately.
Displays beginning level understanding of HOK design and marketing process and supports interview and proposal preparation.
Displays beginning level understanding of contracts and agreements. Works within project budget, schedule, and work plan.
Actively promotes a collaborative and innovative culture.
Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture
1 to 3 years of experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required.
LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.
