Systems Administrator
II
to help grow our Information Technology Department. This in-person role is in our Plano, TX office. The Systems Administrator II is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of core origination and servicing platforms, including ICE Encompass and ICE MSP/BlackKnight.
This role ensures high availability, data integrity, security, and compliance across all critical mortgage systems, supporting development, testing, and production environments. The Systems Administrator II partners with business, compliance, and vendor teams to ensure reliable integration and performance of mortgage technology solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer, maintain, and monitor ICE Mortgage Encompass and MSP systems, including user access, configuration, and system performance
Manage integrations between internal systems and external investor and partner systems such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and Equifax eMortgage
Review and test patches, and version upgrades in coordination with business stakeholders and vendors
Maintain strong operational controls to meet FFIEC, Fannie/Freddie, and Ginnie Mae compliance requirements
Perform routine system audits to ensure data accuracy, access security, and compliance with company policies
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and system configuration guides
Collaborate with security teams to ensure mortgage systems meet cybersecurity and data protection standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, integration, and performance issues
Manage and monitor scheduled jobs, data feeds, and service interfaces between systems
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and response related to mortgage systems
Provide escalation support for production incidents and mentor junior administrators and analysts
Develop dashboards and reports using SQL and BI tools
POSITION REQUIREMENTS, CAPABILITIES, & SKILLS
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner
Strategic thinker with strong research and critical analysis skills
Positive, professional, and customer-focused demeanor
Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Skilled in cross-departmental communication and change management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Ability to interpret and apply published rules, regulations, and industry guidelines
Experienced in integrating regulatory knowledge into business processes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree required in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or MIS
5-7 years of experience working as a Systems Administrator at a Finance company
Manufactured housing experience preferred
Master’s Degree (preferred but not required)
