After School STEM Instructor

About the Role Facilitating a one‑hour after‑school science enrichment program using a pre‑set curriculum. Each session is a high‑energy, part‑entertainment, part‑education, hands‑on class that meets for one hour each week for 8–10 weeks. The program is designed for elementary‑age children (4–12) and is presented year‑round following the school calendar.

We train you in the curriculum and provide all materials.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the one‑hour science enrichment program as described.

Lead high‑energy, interactive, hands‑on science sessions for children.

Invite children to explore the arts of science with fun and excitement.

Assist with occasional daytime programming as availability permits.

Qualifications

Some experience working with elementary‑age children (preferred).

Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.

Must have reliable, personal transportation—not public transit or rideshare.

All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks (required).

Some college education.

Have a fun, outgoing personality.
