Safety Coordinator - OSHA 500 – Bilingual
Precision Walls has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Safety Coordinator to join our team. We offer a workplace where you can be challenged and thrive while working with a supportive, family‑like crew.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
All phases of branch Safety / Lean Support and Enforcement.
Safety Checklist / Lean Checklist Inspections.
Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments (when required) and maintain supporting documentation.
Provide training and licensing for field personnel on tools and equipment such as Hilti Tools, MEWPs, Lull & Forklift operations, scaffolds, ladders and stilts.
Support the Management team in creating New Job Start‑Up requirements (contract safety documents, JSSP/SSSP, OCIP‑CCIP requirements, etc.).
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment that adheres to OSHA guidelines.
Accompany and support injured employees, attend initial doctor appointments, and continue support until the employee is released to full duty.
Ensure all documentation is completed for any accident, incident or property damage.
Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements / Experience
2 years of commercial construction safety experience.
Proficiency with desktop computers, laptops, iPads, smartphones and other electronic devices.
OSHA 500 certification.
Precision Walls Trained Trainer certification (provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator, Safety QQC, Safety Manager or Branch supporting SQRM).
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
