Responsibilities

Train and inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, appropriate guest amenities, and the working conditions of all guest rooms. Ensures that cleanliness and quality standards are met.

Check status of all guest rooms to include guest requests, out of order rooms and rooms to be cleaned each day.

Assess inventory and assign rooms for cleaning.

Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms.

Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of guest rooms. Communicate and coordinate with Engineering to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms.

Perform Housekeeper duties, as needed.

Assist department manager in maintaining close control and inventory of linen and supplies.

Assist in the maintenance of the lost and found program.

Issue proper keys to authorized personnel. Maintains key control.

Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

Perform any other duties as requested by your manager.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent experience, with one to two years of employment related experience.

Working knowledge of housekeeping is expected.

Supervisory skills are required.

Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, management and guests.

Ability to operate a two-way radio, cleaning and general office equipment, including a computer.

Continuous movement and standing, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 35 pounds.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Compensation Salary: $17 - $17.50 per hour
