Senior Account Manager (Music & Entertainment) (Payment Services Client)
Join Octagon’s music & entertainment team as a Senior Account Manager, driving high‑profile consumer brand accounts, partnership strategies, and experiential activations.
Location: Hybrid work 3 days a week in our Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY office (preferred). Headquarters: Stamford, CT.
Responsibilities
Generate innovative ideas, strategies, and viewpoints for client accounts, leveraging emerging trends across the music and entertainment landscape.
Oversee all aspects of partnerships and experiential activations, from concept development and contract negotiation to on‑site execution and post‑event analysis.
Effectively articulate ideas and strategies to clients through persuasive presentations.
Balance multiple projects, assets, and contracts, ensuring quality control across all deliverables.
Develop strong relationships with internal and external collaborators, including clients, vendors, talent teams, and properties.
Provide deep knowledge of the client’s sponsorship portfolio and business initiatives to align strategies with overall goals.
Guide and support junior team members while fostering a positive, productive environment.
Qualifications
4‑5 years of relevant work experience in marketing or a related field; agency experience preferred.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and proven ability to meet strict timelines.
Proven experience in experiential activation, creative ideation, client service, and project management for brands of all sizes.
Ability to manage multiple client needs simultaneously.
Established connections and experience within music and/or entertainment industries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in crafting and delivering compelling presentations.
Demonstrated strong judgment and professionalism in interactions with team members, clients, and vendors.
Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; flexible to work weekends or holidays; moderate travel (20‑45%).
Compensation Base salary: $65,000 – $75,000.
