Inside Sales Representative – Field Solutions Company: OES Equipment (part of the DPR Family of Companies).

Location: Raleigh, NC. Salary: $50,000.00–$80,000.00.

Job Overview OES Equipment is a fast‑paced supply and rental equipment company focused on the construction industry. We seek an energetic, knowledgeable, and personable Inside Sales Representative – Field Solutions to serve as a trusted partner for our clients in surveying, drones, progress cameras, environment monitoring, and site access control solutions.

Responsibilities

Customer‑facing, hands‑on role bridging OES Equipment's field technology offerings and construction professionals.

Identify customer needs, guide them to the right solution, and ensure satisfaction throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Build and sustain strong customer relationships through site visits, demos, and solution consultations.

Act as a technical resource and sales consultant for technologies: robotic total stations, 3D laser scanners, UAVs and payloads, video‑based progress monitoring, site access control/security systems, environmental monitoring and IoT.

Lead product demonstrations and onboarding sessions at client sites or remotely.

Proactively track customer experience, satisfaction, and ongoing needs to anticipate future requirements.

Collaborate closely with outside sales, field engineers, and vendors for successful integration.

Stay current on evolving industry technology trends and advise on implementation strategies.

Required Skills and Abilities

Strong relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to simplify technical concepts.

Comfortable engaging with jobsite personnel, project engineers, and superintendents.

Technically knowledgeable in modern surveying and scanning tools, construction software, and drone operation.

Customer‑service mindset with high accountability.

Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently.

Education and Experience

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field preferred.

2+ years of field engineering, surveying, or reality‑capture experience required.

1+ year of sales or customer support preferred.

FAA Part 107 certification and/or Surveyor‑in‑Training (S.I.T.) is a plus.

Hands‑on experience with Leica, Trimble, Topcon, Carlson, or similar technologies highly desirable.

Construction supply and equipment industry knowledge preferred.

Experience with RentalMan (Wynne Software) and Knowledge of Coupa (P2P software) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed during demonstrations or rental equipment handling.

Travel to job sites and client locations (~25%).

Occasional fieldwork with equipment for demonstrations and troubleshooting.
