Job Summary: As a

Staffing Coordinator / Staffing Director , you will play a critical leadership role in supporting the Director of Nursing (DON) and managing staff schedules to ensure our facility runs smoothly. You will serve as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments, helping build a positive and efficient work environment.

This position is ideal for someone with

CNA or CMT experience , who is organized, proactive, and passionate about healthcare staffing and scheduling.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintain and update daily tardy and absenteeism calendars

Prepare and manage nursing department schedules to ensure proper shift coverage

Coordinate schedule changes and time-off requests with employees and nursing supervisors

Communicate with staff via phone, text, email, or in-person to maintain accurate, updated schedules

Support time-off documentation and ensure proper protocol is followed

Respond to staff inquiries regarding shifts, coverage, or scheduling conflicts

Collaborate with department heads to maintain appropriate staffing levels across the facility

What We're Looking For:

Experience as a Staffing Coordinator / Staffing Director

in a nursing home, rehab, or healthcare setting preferred

CNA or CMT certification or experience required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes or last-minute staffing needs

High school diploma or equivalent required
