$90K–$140K base + uncapped commission

Total Compensation:

About the Role We’re looking for a proven outside sales professional to take ownership of a well-established Midwest territory in the packaging industry. You’ll manage a strong base of existing accounts while driving new business development throughout the region. This role is ideal for someone who’s self-directed, relationship-driven, and ready to grow a territory with the full support of a leadership team that values performance and independence.

This is a high-impact role with approximately 50% travel across the Midwest.

Responsibilities

Own and grow a multi-state East Coast sales territory with a mix of current and prospective accounts

Aggressively pursue new business development across the packaging industry and adjacent sectors

Sell a broad range of flexible packaging products and materials

Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and quoting to closing and long-term relationship management

Maintain detailed activity and pipeline updates through Salesforce or similar CRM tools

Report weekly itineraries, monthly summaries, and key account updates directly to the VP of Sales

Coordinate customer visits, plant tours, and events with the support of inside teams

Strategically target and grow accounts in collaboration with senior leadership

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required or an equivalent of 7+ years of relevant flexible packaging industry sales experience

5+ years of outside sales experience, with at least 2+ years in flexible packaging, medical devices or closely related manufacturing industries

Track record of success in both new business development and account management

Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail

Comfortable managing a large, multi-state territory and traveling approximately 50% of the time

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools—Salesforce experience is a plus

Independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented
