Job Overview Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for part‑time adjunct faculty positions to teach psychology courses in the Department of Social Sciences. The successful candidate will teach courses in person on the campus of Spartanburg Methodist College. Contracts may be renewed on a semester‑by‑semester basis pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate psychology courses in person on campus.
Prepare lesson plans, deliver lectures, and facilitate class discussions.
Develop and assess student assignments and exams.
Maintain office hours and provide academic support to students.
Keep up to date with developments in the field of psychology.
Qualifications
Holder of an MA/MS, PhD, or PsyD in Psychology.
Preferred: a background in Developmental Psychology.
Demonstrated ability to instruct and engage undergraduate students.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
