We are seeking a qualified ASL Interpreter for a 25‑week assignment in Federal Way, Washington. This role supports effective communication between Deaf or Hard‑of‑Hearing individuals and hearing staff in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
Provide accurate ASL interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language
Facilitate clear communication in meetings, educational, clinical, or workplace settings as assigned
Maintain confidentiality and professional interpreting standards
Collaborate with staff to ensure communication needs are met
Qualifications
Certification or credentials as an ASL Interpreter (RID or equivalent preferred)
Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language
Strong professionalism, communication, and cultural competency
Ability to commit to a 25‑week contract
