This position entails both scientific and administrative responsibilities for the Roy Lab.
Responsibilities
Independently conduct a variety of sophisticated experiments using novel techniques and equipment.
Ensure that laboratory experiments are completed to meet protocol aims while following current guidelines.
Assist the PI with publications, experimental design, and scientific approach development.
Present experimental data at departmental, collaborator, national, and regional meetings.
Administrative Responsibilities
Supervise laboratory personnel, including medical students, graduate students, residents, and clinical fellows.
Handle logistical considerations for experiments, such as inventory management, ordering, and biosafety compliance.
