Marksman Security is seeking an experienced dispatch professional to support our Security Operations Center. Security Operations Center experience is required, and a background in both security and customer service is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real‑time.
Watch facility CCTV for unsafe conditions, unauthorized access, and other security violations.
Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
Handle incoming phone calls and alerts via the internal communications system, national weather reports, and act quickly and decisively.
Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
Provide support during emergencies (fire, medical, intrusions, natural disasters).
Utilize internal communication systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems and computer‑based software with a high level of professionalism.
Operate facility badge software, enabling and disabling badges as needed.
Provide security support for various client projects and events.
Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.
Qualifications
21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Non‑commissioned security license issued by the State of Texas.
Previous dispatch experience required.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with report writing.
Experience with monitoring and surveillance.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Previous security experience required.
Attentive to detail.
Ability to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
