Postdoctoral Fellow Psychologist (PhD, PsyD)
Upstream Mental Health is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow Psychologist to join our telehealth private practice based in Boston, MA. The fellowship starts in August 2026 and runs for 12 months through August 2027, offering a flexible start date and a fully remote position.
Overview Our team values a multicultural‑feminist perspective, evidence‑based interventions, and a commitment to anti‑racism and intersectionality. Fellows will work with college/graduate students, young professionals, and BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ populations, addressing the impact of sociopolitical oppression on mental health.
Responsibilities
Provide direct client care (~25 completed sessions per week)
Document sessions, complete billing, and maintain an EHR
Participate in 2 hours of weekly supervision and trainings
Support a fully remote practice with flexible scheduling
Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA‑Accredited program
Residency in the state of Massachusetts or Connecticut
Experience or training in evidence‑based and multicultural approaches
Ability to complete 25 clinical sessions weekly (30 scheduled)
Comfortable with a fully remote position and flexible scheduling
Compensation
Annual salary of approximately $72,000, paid hourly
W2 position with health, vision, and paid time off benefits
401(k) with employer match and annual professional development stipend
Administrative and credentialing support, including billing, marketing, and EHR
Professional malpractice insurance and ongoing clinical supervision
Steady referral stream of well‑matched clients and supportive team environment
