We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic

Pastry Counter Server

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while serving pastries, desserts, and beverages in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. You will act as the face of the bakery, ensuring each guest has a pleasant and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist with selecting pastries, cakes, and beverages.

Provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and allergens.

Serve pastries and beverages promptly and accurately.

Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and issue receipts.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry counter, display cases, and seating area.

Restock pastry displays and supplies throughout the day.

Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.

Assist with taking, packaging take-out and custom orders for both of our concepts (The French Pantry and Little Miss Ha).

Communicate with bakers and kitchen staff regarding product availability or special requests.

Support daily opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a café, bakery, or food service environment preferred.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.

Basic math skills and experience handling cash or POS systems.

A positive attitude and a passion for pastries and customer interaction.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Schedule: Shifts may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Flexible availability is preferred.
