Description Wheeler Machinery CO is seeking a full-time Earthmoving Sales Manager. The role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales force to achieve company goals for customer service, market dominance, and profitability.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Salary: $165,000 – $270,000 per year.

Duties and Responsibilities

Devise, implement and administer sales strategies to achieve market dominance and profitability objectives

Foster culture of customer‑centric consultative selling

Develop and execute sales coverage plan to achieve market share goals

Manage area of responsibility according to annual budget and forecast

Resolve escalated customer issues and problems effectively

Train sales staff to adopt value‑selling techniques for all products and services we provide

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with corporate and key customers to encourage loyalty and value as partners in their business

Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems effectively and demonstrate high integrity

Provide needed coaching, skills and resources to sales team as part of an ongoing development plan

Work closely in conjunction with other departments to bring a unified approach to customers

Oversee and manage sales reporting through CRM and other visualization tools such as Tableau

Interview, select and hire salesmen as needed

Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in sales or business‑related fields) or minimum 4 years of industry‑related experience

Strong presentation, organizational and time‑management skills

Self‑starter, motivated and results driven

Dedication to providing the highest level of customer service

Ability to handle and resolve objections and problems amicably

General computing skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to utilize a CRM for reporting and processing data

Experience in successfully mentoring and leading others toward accomplishing a common goal

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
