Summary
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach and Spa is a large complex of 1230 rooms and currently looking for an Operations Assistant Manager – Front Office to join our Rooms team. This role will have oversight of the Front Office and PBX areas. Additional responsibilities may include training, staff development and scheduling. The Assistant Operations Manager – Front Office will promote an atmosphere that engages colleagues, ensures guest satisfaction, and upholds Hyatt’s values. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interact with guests, other departments, and team members.

The salary range for this position is $61,800 – $74,100.

Qualifications
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Progressive hotel rooms management experience.
Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, capable of providing exceptional customer service and improving the bottom line.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Opera, Kronos, Saflok and Zingle.
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
Previous experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
Service‑oriented style with professional presentation skills.
