Job Description The Global Account Manager is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. You’re responsible for leading and driving sales engagements across US Air Force/Space Force districts, meeting and exceeding your district quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans for the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This role offers a unique opportunity for a go‑getter to win business and market share by actively displacing competing technologies. We provide a comprehensive onboarding program called FLIGHT, blending virtual and in‑person learning to prepare new hires fully for client engagements.
Your Impact
Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and collaborate with internal partners to best serve the customer.
Build long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors using consultative selling skills.
Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise‑wide deployments.
Understand the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks effectively.
Employ a programmatic approach to demand generation, development, and expansion of your territory.
Leverage prospect stories to craft a compelling value proposition tailored to each account.
Stay updated on industry news and trends that affect Palo Alto Networks products and services.
Travel as necessary within your territory and to company‑wide meetings.
Qualifications Your Experience
Experience and knowledge of SaaS‑based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security.
Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners to drive a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach.
Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle, from qualifying to closing new, white‑space territories and accounts.
Deep knowledge of the U.S. DoW and/or intelligence community.
Track record of selling complex solutions.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously.
Highly competitive, rapidly ramping, adaptive, and proud of exceeding production goals.
Active security clearance.

Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $264,000 – $363,000 per year, possibly including restricted stock units and a bonus.
