The Physical Therapist I provides physical therapy services to patients and families in collaboration with other health care providers.
Responsibilities
Perform all functions associated with the evaluation of patients for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
Perform all functions associated with the execution of therapeutic treatment for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
Complete all documentation required within the regarded timeline according to department.
Identify the needs of the patient population served and modify and deliver care that is specific to those needs (e.g., age, culture, language).
Communicate with patients, parents, and/or primary caregivers at their level.
Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications Required:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school.
Minimum 0–2 years of experience.
Preferred:
Minimum 2 years of previous pediatric experience, preferably in medical, outpatient pediatric, or school setting.
Strong pediatric clinical affiliation considered.
Licenses & Certifications
Physical Therapist License.
Working Conditions
Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
Compensation Starting at $45.94 hourly. Additional benefits include health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
