Position Title
RN/LPN PRN Nightshift
Location Atlanta, GA
Salary $60,000.00–$100,000.00
Position Summary RN/LPN is responsible for providing care to clients, including administering medication, taking vitals, assessing medical needs, and more.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the taking and recording of daily client vital signs and assessments
Administering medications and treatments as per provider protocol
Assisting with client admissions and discharges
Recording client observations and reporting to the medical team as needed
Compassionately interacting with the client population to encourage engagement in treatment
Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment
Attending staff trainings and meetings as required by the employer
Communicating with the pharmacy as needed
Completing client nursing admissions, including intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, and GeneSight swabbing
Following all policies and procedures regarding client information protection, including alcohol‑drug client confidentiality and HIPAA
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Current unrestricted licensure in GA (as required by facility)
Able to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to work with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non‑judgmental, compassionate fashion
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Experience working with people in recovery and/or in mental health treatment (a plus)
